Note: It is an interesting detail that Walther firearms are seen being used by bad guys in every season of 24, and the only time Jack Bauer ever uses one (a stolen PPK) it jams on him. The killer Mandy, David Conlon, various henchmen, and several other baddies are all seen wielding Walthers. Interesting note. In the new season 7, David Emerson is seen using a SW99, basically a S&W clone of the ''Walther'' P99

Henderson remarks that Bauer was never going to let him go and then attempts to kill Bauer, only to find the gun empty. Bauer draws his own gun and recounts everything Henderson has done in that day before shooting him twice.

Galvez ([[Gabriel Casseus]]) uses a P228 to shoot Larry and Larry's helicopter pilot in episode 18. Stokes changes his pistol from a 92FS to a [[SIG-Sauer P228|P228]] in episode 18. Strangely, in episode 19, Jack claims that they have .45 ACP cartridges in evidence, but no .45's were fired.

In episode 8, a sniper on a roof shoots Henry Powell ([[Robertson Dean]]) in the chest and all that is seen is a straight rifle barrel. It could have been a [[Heckler & Koch G3#Heckler & Koch PSG-1|Heckler & Koch PSG-1]] because of the straight smooth barrel but is very unlikely because of how rare this weapon is seen in movies, so I identified it as a [[Accuracy International Arctic Warfare series#AWP|Accuracy International AWP]].

This rifle is also used by one of Abu Fayed's ([[Adoni Maropis]]) guards in 7:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M.

Tony Almeida ([[Carlos Bernard]]) steals a [[SIG-Sauer P228|P228]] from a guard at the FBI office and has kept it ever since (when CTU goes after the CIP device, he uses it with a suppressor) The [[SIG-Sauer P228|P228]] is also used by Agent Lennert ([[Wiley M. Pickett]]) when searching for a hostile, by FBI Director Larry Moss as his standard sidearm, and by Secret Service Agent Hovis, among others. Galvez ([[Gabriel Casseus]]) uses a P228 to shoot Larry and Larry's helicopter pilot in episode 18. Stokes changes his pistol from a 92FS to a [[SIG-Sauer P228|P228]] in episode 18. Strangely, in episode 19, Jack claims that they have .45 ACP cartridges in evidence, but no .45's were fired.

Emerson ([[Peter Wingfield]]) uses a [[Beretta 92 pistol series#Beretta 92FS|Beretta 92FS]] as a continuely error during the kidnapping of Prime Minister Matobo in episode 4. Bill's standard handgun in [[24]] is a [[Beretta 92 pistol series#Beretta 92FS|92FS]]. Jack Bauer seizes a Beretta 92FS from a Marine guard and uses it to threaten Bill Buchanan during episode 11. Stokes ([[Michael Rodrick]]) uses a [[Beretta 92 pistol series#Beretta 92FS|Beretta 92FS]] threatening to kill Tony Almeida in episode 16.

It is also worth noting in Season 8 episode 11 titled "The Gift" flashbacks are shown of Fox Mulder using his PPK to shoot and attempt to kill a soul eater who cured him of a terminal disease, to relieve it of it's suffering.
After which Agent Dogget discovers the Walther taped under Mulder's bathroom sink in it's holster.

You can tell because the receivers of the guns don't have the "fencing" around the magazine release, plus they lack the A2-style rear sights, shell deflectors, and forward assists.

:They are not M16A1s. They are very early-model civilian AR15 SP1s which, unlike MoviePropMaster's gun, don't have the forward assist and probably aren't even converted to fire auto. The reason why they're using these is because the budget for this show was probably so low that the property master figured there was no reason to give them transferable full-auto M16s, which would cost more to rent and require paying a licensed armorer to be present on-set, when they could have something that looks almost identical and wouldn't be noticeable to a casual observer.

The [[AK-47#Norinco Type 84|Norinco Type 84S]] can be seen in limited numbers (two rifles being seen) in the hands of the Russian guards at the Tunguska gulag in the episode "Terma". In the episode "Patient X" when a unit of Russian soliders led by Alex Krycek encountered a UN military force at a UFO abduction site in Kazakhstan, two Russian soldiers were seen armed with AK rifles while the rest of the unit were armed with clubs/nightsticks. There is a possibility that there were not many AK rifles available in Vancouver during the mid-1990s, which could explain why only two soldiers/gulag guards were armed with rifles while the others were armed with nightsticks. Also, it makes little sense that Russian soldiers would use the Chinese Type 84.

There are many episodes, especially in the early seasons, where U.S. military personnel are armed with civilian [[M16 rifle series|Colt AR15 Sporter-1s]] with [[M16 rifle series#M16A2 Rifle|M16A2]]-style hand guards, standing in for the real M16A2 service rifles that the soldiers ''should'' be using. You can tell because the receivers of the guns don't have the "fencing" around the magazine release, plus they lack the A2-style rear sights, shell deflectors, and forward assists.

:They are not M16A1s. They are very early-model civilian AR15 SP1s which, unlike MoviePropMaster's gun, don't have the forward assist and probably aren't even converted to fire auto. The reason why they're using these is because the budget for this show was probably so low that the property master figured there was no reason to give them transferable full-auto M16s, which would cost more to rent and require paying a licensed armorer to be present on-set, when they could have something that looks almost identical and wouldn't be noticeable to a casual observer.

==Norinco Type 84S==

The [[AK-47#Norinco Type 84|Norinco Type 84S]] can be seen in limited numbers (two rifles being seen) in the hands of the Russian guards at the Tunguska gulag in the episode "Terma". In the episode "Patient X" when a unit of Russian soliders led by Alex Krycek encountered a UN military force at a UFO abduction site in Kazakhstan, two Russian soldiers were seen armed with AK rifles while the rest of the unit were armed with clubs/nightsticks. There is a possibility that there were not many AK rifles available in Vancouver during the mid-1990s, which could explain why only two soldiers/gulag guards were armed with rifles while the others were armed with nightsticks. Also, it makes little sense that Russian soldiers would use the Chinese Type 84.

There is also a recurring appearance of a folding-stock Type 84 that has a long RPK-style barrel. It appears several times in the 4th and 5th seasons, most prominently in the episode "Folie A Deux" where it is used by a hostage-taker. This is known as the Type 84S Match variant.

In the episode "Terma", a number of Russian guards on horseback are seen armed with [[Makarov PM]] handguns as they shoot at Mulder while he was escaping the Tunguska gulag.

Some of the non-firing MP5s appear to be Tokyo Marui spring-powered airsoft guns, though of course real MP5s are used in firing scenes. In one episode, Scully wields an MP5A3 with a Surefire forearm during a scene where she and Mulder participate in an FBI takedown of a militia group.

In the first episode of Season 2, "Little Green Men", Mulder and Scully are chased away from the Arecibo radio telescope site in Puerto Rico by a Blue Beret Crash Retrieval Unit. The Blue Berets are armed with a number of weapons that were considered "futuristic" back in the mid-1990s when the episode was made, including a [[Steyr AUG]], a [[Calico Series of Rifles and Pistols#Calico M955A|Calico M955A]] with a laser sight, and at least two [[Mossberg 500-series shotgun#Mossberg 500 Bullpup|Mossberg 500 Bullpup]] shotguns. The leader of the team is seen using another airsoft MP5 (see above).
