It is also seen on a table when Boris sells Franky Four Fingers his revolver, and later it is seen again in Boris' safe when Cousin Avi, and Bullet Tooth Tony raid his home. A similar shotgun also appears to be used by one of Mickey's friends, Darren, (Jason Flemyng) to shoot one of Brick Top's henchmen at the campsite.

Vincent (Robbie Gee) buys a compact version of the SPAS 12 for the heist of Brick Top's (Alan Ford) bookie. Sol fires the shotgun twice, first to blast a hole in the wall and then into the roof. As he throws a fit upon discovering that there is no money at the bookie's place, the teller takes it from him, firing it once before retreating behind the security screens.

AR-15/SP1
Billy (Sonny Landham) and Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) are prominantly seen armed with AR-15/SP1 slab-side M16 rifles fitted with M16A1 birdcage muzzle flash suppressors to apear more modern (they are likely AR-15/SP1s over genuine M16s, converted to full-auto by the armorers for the film). Dutch's AR-15/SP1 is fitted with an Fake M203 Launcher and a perforated forend typical for the M203, while Billy's AR-15/SP1 is fitted with a Mossberg 500 shotgun and M16A2 foregrips. These particular SP1 rifles are clearly fitted with blank adapters (which are visible sticking beyond the muzzle, out into the flash hider), which means they were real guns converted to fire blank rounds. Many other guns in the movie also have these adapters visible.

Fake 39mm M203 Launcher
Fitted on Dutch's AR-15/SP1 is a Fake M203 Launcher with a 39mm bore diameter. This particular faux launcher was popular at the time before the Cobray launcher was produced and was used in several other '80s movies, including Heartbreak Ridge. Gun is inaccurately seen as capable of detonating its rounds at close range, yet real M203 rounds have a safety device in which they must spin for a certain amount of time before detonating, giving it a range limit. Dutch later uses his spare 40mm rounds (which actually don't fit his launcher) to make explosives to face the Predator.

Mossberg 500
Billy's AR-15/SP1 is fitted with a Mossberg 500 underslung under the barrel. While never seen firing the shotgun in the film, he is seen pumping it closed after the men cut down the forest with weapons fire, implying he had been firing it during that scene. In the original screenplay, Billy's SP1 rifle was to be fitted with an M203 launcher. During the helicopter scene, he was to be seen opening and closing the breech repeatedly. Since the fake M203 launchers don't open in such a manner, I guess someone decided to change it to a Mossberg 500 shotgun (although they seemed to have forgotten the helicopter scene).
GE M134 Minigun Handheld
Nicknamed "Old Painless", a hand-held M134 Minigun is the main weapon of the movie carried by Blain (Jesse Ventura). It has been modded for Commando use with an M60 handguard and a rear pistol grip. The weapon was powered by an electric cable hidden in the actors pants and fired reduced power 7.62x51mm blank rounds to ease the recoil force. It is believed in real life a similar weapon was tested by US special forces in the 1970s but found impractical. Although rumored to be an XM214 'Microgun' which fires the smaller 5.56mm NATO rounds, it is the larger M134 hence the barrel cluster. On the subject of the weapon's caliber the film's technical advisor Kevin Dockery had the following to say."The Predator gun is an M-134. It was never a microgun (XM-214). That story has been rattling around the Internet and elsewhere for years, that the Predator gun was a 5.56, it wasn't. Ventura had a hand in putting together the harness that held the gun, after all, he had to carry and handle the darn thing, and told me a bunch about it. When Dan had the gun (past tense I believe) he contacted me to see if Ventura wanted to buy the weapon. I'm going to do a writeup on the XM-214 including pictures of me holding one. It isn't a big deal to pick the microgun up and hold it cradled in one arm. Maybe when people see just how small the 5.56mm gun is, this story will start going away. The pack in the movie held all of four seconds worth of ammo and no batteries. In the first scene when Ventura fires the gun, you can see the cable for it in the dirt behind him. And the trigger didn't work. The special effects man handled powering the gun for several reasons, including safety. Something about them not wanting the actors injured if the gun was dropped and the trigger pulled." The gun is also operated in the film by Mac shortly after Blain's death and Mac uses it to chop down half the forest in an attempt to kill the Predator. For the firing scenes, the weapon is fed from the same type of helicopter ammo box used on the M23 armament system for the M60D machine gun. These ammunition canisters hold aproximately 550 rounds,At the confirmed rate of fire(1,250 RPM) when the weapon was sold the weapon had all of 25 seconds of ammo or just long enough to do the Counter-Ambush scene. For the non-firing scenes the ammo box was turned on its side with the chute attached to the bottom of the box and positioned upside down on the gun in order to hide the fact that there was no ammunition present.

The Heckler & Koch HK94 are the mainstay weapons of many members of the squad. Blain (Jesse Ventura), Poncho (Richard Cheves), Hawkins (Shane Black) and Dillon (Carl Weathers) all carry them. The guns are meant to be MP5A3s, but close inspection reveals they are the civilian HK94s with the 16" barrels chopped down and they are converted to full auto. They clearly aren't MP5A3s due to the lack of the three lugs on the barrel, the lack of the paddle magazine release situated behind the magazine, under the gun. They also lack the push pin set.
A custom launcher built specifically by the armorers is used by Poncho. ==Custom Torque Bow==
When preparing to fight the Predator, Dutch builds himself a recurve bow with enough strength to send arrows completly through trees. Dutch also builds some explosive tipped arrows with no visible ignition source, so apparently they just explode on impact for no reason.
"Blow Dryer" Gun
The infamous shoulder mounted plasma gun used by The Predator (played by 7'2" tall actor Kevin Peter Hall, now deceased), nicknamed the "Blow Dryer" gun due to its similarity to a Hair Dryer is used several times in the film and is the main cause of death to many of the team's Commandos.

"Plasma Caster" is another name commonly attached to the shoulder cannon.

Harpoon Gun
Before the great Stan Winston (RIP) turned the Predator into what it was, it was originally going to use a Harpoon gun, and in one scene, we see this gun's projectile in use. The Predator uses it to skim Blaine's shoulder and stun him before using his shoulder gun to put a hole through his chest. Since this idea was dropped, this is the only instance the weapon is seen used in the film.

There is also the possibility that the Harpoon could be another version of the "Spear gun" seen in the second movie.

Hot Fuzz is a 2007 film that spoofs both the horror and action genres of film. Police officer Nicholas Angel is sent from London to the small, English countryside town of Sandford because his extreme dedication to being a London officer consistently upstages his colleagues. When he arrives in Sandford he uncovers a plot by a small cabal of residents to rid the town of anything and anyone they find disrupts the peace and harmony they strive for.

Heckler & Koch G36C
Early on in the film Sergeant Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) fires a round from his Heckler & Koch G36C fitted with a standard G36 carry handle, laser pointer and tactical flashlight during an SO-19 operation. This could be a reference to Shaun of the Dead, where the British Army soldiers at the end of the movie all have G36Cs with standard G36 carry handles and three tactical flashlights.

Norinco Type 56-1
During the opening scene Sergeant Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) fires his G36C into "a crack-head with a Kalashnikov" (Garth Jennings). The type of AK-47 the crack-head was armed with appears to be a Chinese-made, folding stock Norinco Type 56-1 assault rifle.
L1A1 SLR
When Sergeant Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) takes on the town, he brings the British variant of the FN FAL, the SLR.

Joyce Cooper (Billie Whitelaw) uses a World War II-vintage Austrian Steyr-Solothurn S1-100 (or better known as the MP34 in WWII German service) submachine gun when Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) starts to take on Sandford. Anyone who has ever uses one of these air rifles should know that they are single shots that takes at least 5 seconds to break open and cock the spring and load it. Angel must be an uber-shooter in order to accomplish such an immposible task.

Nicholas Angel's (Simon Pegg) partner, Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) uses a Winchester 1300 Defender provided by Angel during the shootout in the town. The Model 1300 Defender in the movie is fitted with a synthetic stock, tactical flashlight in the foregrip, and spare 12 Gauge shell holders. Doctor Robin Hatcher (Stuart Wilson) also uses a Defender which he pulls from the trunk of his car. He fires several shots at Angel when he first enters the town and holds both Angel and Danny at gunpoint before Danny blows his foot off.
He is seen using it during the pub shootout and during the car chase to shoot at Simon Skinner's (Timothy Dalton) car. His father, Inspector Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent) gets a hold of it in the final scene in the mini-village and threatens his son with it. Danny then retains the weapon while Frank runs off - unwilling to shoot his own father, Danny angrily fires the S&W into the air while lying on his back (spoofing a scene from Point Break).
Angel picks up an Air Rifle most likely a B2 Deluxe Air Rifle with Monte Carlo Stock and takes out all six man targets in about two seconds. Anyone who has ever uses one of these air rifles should know that they are single shots that takes at least 5 seconds to break open and cock the spring and load it. Note: The correct nomenclature is "MAC-10", not "Mac-10". MAC is an acronym for Military Armament Corporation.

Information
* Type: Submachine Gun and Semi Automatic pistols for general public sale.
* Operation: Open bolt, Blow Back
* Abbreviation: Military Armament Corporation Model 10 (M.A.C-10/MAC-10)
* Cyclic Rate: ~1200rpm
* Caliber: 9mm Parabellum (MAC-10/9) .45 ACP (MAC-10/45), .380 ACP (MAC-11)

Gordon Ingram designed the MAC-10 in 1965 and later, when the company he worked for, Sionics Inc, was merged into the larger Military Armament Corporation in 1970, the MAC-10 was put into production. The 9mm and .45 acp versions were introduced simultaneously. The .380 version was introduced later in the same year. The MAC-10 was then offered to the U.S. Military during the final years of the Vietnam War as a weapon for special operations and for support personnel, like armored units (hoping to replace the M3A1 Submachine gun as the self defense weapon of most tank crews). The MAC-10 didn't generate a lot of interest from the U.S. Military due to it's small size and high rate of fire (too high it turns out for most operational uses). The lack of a foregrip motivated M.A.C. to provide a grip strap in front so that a second hand could hold down the gun and control the extreme muzzle climb when firing a long burst. But it was still an awkward weapon to fire and was most popular when mated with the efficient Sionics Two Stage Sound Suppressor. The Sionics Suppressor increased the length, quieted the sound (in a manner that was impressive for it's day), and gave the shooter a stable point to grab with the second hand. CIA and SEAL units used the MAC-10 in Vietnam, and Special Ops units from other countries (Israel, UK and West Germany to name a few have been seen wielding versions of the MAC-10 during that time period). Unfortunately no Major military ever formally adopted the weapon and it was sold mostly to Elite Police units (foreign and domestic) as well as special covert ops units until Military Armament Corporation went bankrupt in 1976. The death knell was the U.S. Government ban on selling Silencers/Suppressors to other countries (a ridiculous ban that has since been lifted). But foreign clients only wanted the MAC-10 with the Sionics Suppressor, orders fell to nothing. We can still see Ingram MAC-10s in South and Central America (usually 'gifts' from the CIA over the years) and in the armories of some European countries, but no one uses it as a 'front line' weapon any more.

Other companies then built transferable versions of the MAC-10/9, MAC-10/45 and MAC-11 : most notably RPB Industries and SWD Corporation. Only the MAC guns built by M.A.C. (when Gordon Ingram was there) can be called "Ingram MAC-10s".

The Cobray M11/9 is not a 'true MAC' in that it was an updated design 'based' on the MAC-11 blueprints by SWD Industries. Cobray was the company that emerged when SWD closed down in 1986, however SWD was the first company to design the 'elongated' M11/9 pistol that Cobray became famous for. All of the fully transferable SWD/Cobray M11 submachine guns were actually built by SWD between 1978 and 1986. Cobray kept the SWD logo on many of their frames, but Cobray (the new company) actually only manufactured semi-automatic pistols for public sale after 1986 until they themselves folded (for the most part) in the late 1990s (though they still exist now, selling replacement parts for their guns but they are shadow of their former selves).

In movies and TV shows, particularly those made in the U.S. and Canada, the M11/9 appears quite regularly as a stand-in for the MAC-10 and MAC-11, which means that it is often mistaken for the Ingram guns. When identifying MAC variants on IMFDB, look closely at the back of the receiver to see if it is elongated.
