The camera perspective in the scene is from the 'chest cam' so most of its shaky and his hand is covering the trigger and the fire selector is always facing the user so i can't tell what kind of AR-15 it is, other than it's a AR-15 (Had a flat top, FA, full fencing and possably a brass deflector, so i guess assuming it was a M4 would be fine >_>), had a Crane Stock(?), KAC rail covers, a foregrip and was using a EOTech XPS 3 or 2, also seemed to have a short barrel, a educated guess would be a 11.5" barrel. The pistol grip on the M16 appears to be lacking the finger notch which is on the A2 but not on the A1. It is difficult to be certain from the picture. This could be an A1 with A2-style handguards. Does anyone know for certain?

:That's not an M16A2. The upper seems to have no forward assist, so that means it's an M16A1 upper. The lower is an SP1-style lower. It's just like this gun:

dose Selene had two Beretta 92FS, two P99s, and a USP conpact on her at all times?
:I don't think so. It's been awhile since I've seen the movie, but IIRC, she carried the Berettas for the first part of the movie, then switched to the Walthers once they started using the silver nitrate rounds. And she never used the USP in combat, she only used it at the mansion firing range, which being part of the mansion armory, has multiple weapons available. Guessing she just picked it up "in house" for her target shooting, it doesn't appear to be anything she carries with her regularly. [[User:DKS01|DKS01]] 05:30, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Selene's Berettas do not seem to have real compensators like in Evolution, but more like covers for the extended barrels. There are no ports on top of the "covers" and the still showing Selene firing, only muzzle flash is seen and no flash upwards as with a normal compensator.

Also, she does use the P99s in combat, in the end when the vampires attack the lycan hideout. You can clearly see them when she jumps down the tunnel, and when she does a forward flip while shooting a lycan. --[[User:Jan|Jan]] 23:43, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Looks like it'll follow completely in the vein of its predecessor - totally mindless and full of self-inflated importance, but impossible not to enjoy. To be fair both the 9mm and 45 ACP are probably the best rounds when using a suppressor. The .45 is naturally a subsonic round while the 147 grain 9mm round lends itself well to use in a suppressed firearm. As for anecdotal evidence on number of rounds there are a good number of stories where a 9mm was as effective as a .45 and there are stories where it took more than one round of .45 to stop an attacker. I happen to like the Beretta 92FS as a firearm and I have never had it jam except after a 1000 round torture test and had a 1911 do the same. Either way with a suppressed Beretta or 1911 the McManus brothers would have had a reliable pistol with which a suppressor would work admirably and would be quite effective. The .45 has been recorded to take as many as five hits to the chest to kill, while there are multiple incidents of the nine-mil killing in one shot straight through the heart. Sure, stopping power is important, but becomes fairly irrelevant if you're not trying to keep the target alive, and if you actually know how to aim. Just as a quick note to anyone looking, these dont look like LDAs, they have the standard 1911 style SA skeleton trigger, I'm not sure if that trigger can be used in a double action pistol. Closest Para I could find, based on serration angle and spacing, and the sights. Only problem, the LTC is a commander length and the ones Romeo uses look like government length. Just as a quick note to anyone looking, these dont look like LDAs, they have the standard 1911 style SA skeleton trigger, I'm not sure if that trigger can be used in a double action pistol. Therefore My vote is that these are Para p-18s, especially since it's the same trigger used on the P-18s -Deadlysyn

According to Taylor, Romeo's pistols are custom made for the character. They kinda looked like Para PXTs to me, but without the front serrations like the special series. Also, when the armorer showed Agent Bloom's handgun 6.45 can be seen clearly on the side. Here's one that looks like it...

To be fair both the 9mm and 45 ACP are probably the best rounds when using a suppressor. The .45 is naturally a subsonic round while the 147 grain 9mm round lends itself well to use in a suppressed firearm. As for anecdotal evidence on number of rounds there are a good number of stories where a 9mm was as effective as a .45 and there are stories where it took more than one round of .45 to stop an attacker. I happen to like the Beretta 92FS as a firearm and I have never had it jam except after a 1000 round torture test and had a 1911 do the same. Either way with a suppressed Beretta or 1911 the McManus brothers would have had a reliable pistol with which a suppressor would work admirably and would be quite effective. There are two things I would like to point out. First of all, Beretta 92s and their variants are known for being heavier guns, since all of them up until 2003 were completely metal, as opposed to the polymer that is now commonly used in many parts of other guns. Even after '03, they were still most metal, and therefore are still quite heavy, compared to most other commercial guns. The second point I wanted to make is mainly directed at the power of the 9x19mm round, versus the power of the .45 ACP round. Sure, the .45 has plenty of stopping power, but the 9mm isn't a weak round. It may take 3-5 rounds to the chest occasionally, but more important then the stopping power of a bullet is where it hits. The .45 has been recorded to take as many as five hits to the chest to kill, while there are multiple incidents of the nine-mil killing in one shot straight through the heart. Sure, stopping power is important, but becomes fairly irrelevant if you're not trying to keep the target alive, and if you actually know how to aim. There are two things I would like to point out. Just as a quick note to anyone looking, these dont look like LDAs, they have the standard 1911 style SA skeleton trigger, I'm not sure if that trigger can be used in a double action pistol. To be fair both the 9mm and 45 ACP are probably the best rounds when using a suppressor. The .45 is naturally a subsonic round while the 147 grain 9mm round lends itself well to use in a suppressed firearm. I kinda wished the creators of this game made more guns for us to use. There are so many modern firearms at least they could put in the multiplayer. Like the G36 carrying handle instead of the rail, H&K machineguns, H&K grenade launchers, a full auto M16 in the multiplayer, the option to put every accessory on your primary, like sights, suppressor, and grenade launcher all in one instead of just pick only one. I know they did that for balance, but screw balance. Let's see, what else? The UMP, Mac-10, Glocks (specificly the Glock 18), Drum magazines, AUG, Tavor, SA80/L85A1, L96A1, MP7A1. I know I'm starting to sound like I'm turning the gun choices of COD4 into Rainbow Six, but that's why I like that game a lot because it has SO MANY GUNS to pick from and the option of putting whatever you want. It is true that is the gas block is removed that the next round will not chamber automatically. the bolt would have to be racked to load a new round. If anyone's still looking at this page, does it look to you like the M4 has a 16" barrel? It does to me. A perfectly straight 16" barrel (no M203 cuts) and the old style M4 stock. I believe that makes it exactly the same as the C8, which was mentioned as being what the SAS really use, so maybe the M4 in this game is really a C8. If anyone can counter this feel free.

You're right about the barrel, I think, but the C8 has a 14.5", not a 16". Furthermore, if you look at the rifle without any optics, it has an A2 style rear sight, while the C8's is A1 style.

The barrel looks longer because the front sight/gas block is removed when equipped with optics. If you take into account the length of the front sight, the barrel evens out at around 14.5 inches. The "standard" C8 has a 14.5 inch A1 profile barrel, but the C8FTHB (the version used by SAS under the designation L119A1) has a 16.1 inch barrel that bulges out where the M203 step is on an M4 barrel. Not that I disagree that the Springfield Armory Professional 1911 is the 1911 model in-game, but I think that there ''is'' a possibility that it might be a Nighthawk Custom Enforcer Series or GRP 1911. Why? Because the armed forces would likely use higher-ended companies like Nighthawk. Anyway, just a possibility. Any thoughts?

That's a negative. The Nighthawk Enforcer is basically a Kimber Warrior without the rail, and the rail wasn't the only thing that made the Kimber Warrior a misidentification. The Novak sights are different, and it has a flat top strap across the slide. As far as the military using "higher end companies" They usually buy what's most cost effective and not necessarily best quality, and since Nighthawk Custom makes.... custom firearms, I doubt they'd have a contract that would be cheap, or at least cheaper than competitors. I also put together the M4 SOPMOD the S.A.S. use in game as my primary, which makes me Captain Price :D

To be fair both the 9mm and 45 ACP are probably the best rounds when using a suppressor. The .45 is naturally a subsonic round while the 147 grain 9mm round lends itself well to use in a suppressed firearm. As for anecdotal evidence on number of rounds there are a good number of stories where a 9mm was as effective as a .45 and there are stories where it took more than one round of .45 to stop an attacker. I happen to like the Beretta 92FS as a firearm and I have never had it jam except after a 1000 round torture test and had a 1911 do the same. Either way with a suppressed Beretta or 1911 the McManus brothers would have had a reliable pistol with which a suppressor would work admirably and would be quite effective. There are two things I would like to point out. First of all, Beretta 92s and their variants are known for being heavier guns, since all of them up until 2003 were completely metal, as opposed to the polymer that is now commonly used in many parts of other guns. Even after '03, they were still most metal, and therefore are still quite heavy, compared to most other commercial guns. The second point I wanted to make is mainly directed at the power of the 9x19mm round, versus the power of the .45 ACP round. Sure, the .45 has plenty of stopping power, but the 9mm isn't a weak round. It may take 3-5 rounds to the chest occasionally, but more important then the stopping power of a bullet is where it hits. The .45 has been recorded to take as many as five hits to the chest to kill, while there are multiple incidents of the nine-mil killing in one shot straight through the heart. Sure, stopping power is important, but becomes fairly irrelevant if you're not trying to keep the target alive, and if you actually know how to aim. Just as a quick note to anyone looking, these dont look like LDAs, they have the standard 1911 style SA skeleton trigger, I'm not sure if that trigger can be used in a double action pistol. To be fair both the 9mm and 45 ACP are probably the best rounds when using a suppressor. The .45 is naturally a subsonic round while the 147 grain 9mm round lends itself well to use in a suppressed firearm. As for anecdotal evidence on number of rounds there are a good number of stories where a 9mm was as effective as a .45 and there are stories where it took more than one round of .45 to stop an attacker. I happen to like the Beretta 92FS as a firearm and I have never had it jam except after a 1000 round torture test and had a 1911 do the same. Either way with a suppressed Beretta or 1911 the McManus brothers would have had a reliable pistol with which a suppressor would work admirably and would be quite effective. Sure, the .45 has plenty of stopping power, but the 9mm isn't a weak round. It may take 3-5 rounds to the chest occasionally, but more important then the stopping power of a bullet is where it hits. The .45 has been recorded to take as many as five hits to the chest to kill, while there are multiple incidents of the nine-mil killing in one shot straight through the heart. Sure, stopping power is important, but becomes fairly irrelevant if you're not trying to keep the target alive, and if you actually know how to aim. Just as a quick note to anyone looking, these dont look like LDAs, they have the standard 1911 style SA skeleton trigger, I'm not sure if that trigger can be used in a double action pistol. Therefore My vote is that these are Para p-18s, especially since it's the same trigger used on the P-18s -Deadlysyn

Hey, just saw the movie and checked on here to see if you guys knew anything about the handfull of 1911s in the movie. There are a few nice shots especially when Duke is holding the baroness at gunpoint with what looks like a taurus pt1911 or a Kimber similar to the ones used in S.W.A.T. Not to mention the general (Dennis Quaid) has a 1911 that stays holstered the majority of the movie except when attacked by stormshadow. It appeared to have a mainspring magwell on it and original G.I. (no pun intended) grips. Any help would be awesome....thanks!

== Shotgun FIring Like A Machine Gun? ==

I saw G.I. Joe last week, and during the attack on the Pit scene, Duke fires an automatic shotgun at a Neo-Viper, and I noticed it was firing like a machine gun (with machine gun sounds too). Wtf?! Someone screwed something up on the props or they just thought because it looked like a machine gun, no one would notice. I just thought it was weird.

Its actually an AA-12 to the best of my knowledge. Its a Military assault shotgun featured on Future weapons. It can also fire a 12 guage grenade and with a full magazine can fire them in full auto.

I know the AA-12 is a full auto shotgun, but the sound it made in the movie when Duke was shooting at Baroness as she was escaping the Pit was more a "ratatatat" like the m4 and not the "chugchugchug" like it did in future weapons. - Jan

A favor, in Duke's flashback scene where he and Ripcord were in the African desert, can you send me some screenshots of the unit's weapons? I think I saw an M16A2 with Knights' RIS and M203 grenade launcher among the guns they used in the scene.

Hey, just saw the movie and checked on here to see if you guys knew anything about the handfull of 1911s in the movie. There are a few nice shots especially when Duke is holding the baroness at gunpoint with what looks like a taurus pt1911 or a Kimber similar to the ones used in S.W.A.T. Not to mention the general (Dennis Quaid) has a 1911 that stays holstered the majority of the movie except when attacked by stormshadow. It appeared to have a mainspring magwell on it and original G.I. (no pun intended) grips. Any help would be awesome....thanks!
:I believe Duke does use a Kimber, and it also appears to have attachment rail too, so it's probably a Kimber Warrior. I think Ripcord also hold the same sidearm, which got cut in half by Storm Shadow.

== Shotgun FIring Like A Machine Gun? ==

I saw G.I. Joe last week, and during the attack on the Pit scene, Duke fires an automatic shotgun at a Neo-Viper, and I noticed it was firing like a machine gun (with machine gun sounds too). Wtf?! Someone screwed something up on the props or they just thought because it looked like a machine gun, no one would notice. I just thought it was weird.

Its actually an AA-12 to the best of my knowledge. Its a Military assault shotgun featured on Future weapons. It can also fire a 12 guage grenade and with a full magazine can fire them in full auto.

I see you changed Ludlow's 1911 from a S&W to a RRA. It is neither. The cocking serrations on Ludlow's pistol are 90 degrees, while the serrations on all RRA pistols are angled at 11 degrees. The frontstrap on Ludlow's pistol is a standard cut, while the RRA cuts their's very high and at a 90 degree angle. Ludlow's 1911 has a pinned front sight; RRA uses a dovetail, and RRA uses a standard length serrated slidestop; not a flat extended stop. Also note the magazine funnel, ambidextrous safety, stainless (not blued) barrel - none of which are on the RRA.

I looked for the make of this pistol extensively, and came to the conclusion that it is a franken pistol built from a standard blued Colt; probably a series 70. There are lots of competition add ons in stainless steel, and in black; none of which would come standard on a blued gun that lacks a high cut frontstrap.

: Yeah, I knew it was likely wrong, I'd been looking through my Standard Catalog of firearms and none of the RRA pistols fit the bill. I think it is likely just a custom Series 70 or Series 80. Thanks for the info.

Hello everyone. New account but I've been looking at these pages every time I watch a new movie. Looking at this page, I noticed that you have Ludlow's 1911 is listed in the 1911 page as a sw1911. I noticed on the big picture that says similar to pistol in film that it says series 80 and Cylinder & Slide on the right side. I've ordered a couple of parts from Cylinder & Slide and I know they mostly use Springfield 1911s. Makes me wonder whether this is a C&S custom pistol, and whether it is a series 80 colt, or a sw1911. -Jan

== Demille's shotgun ==

In the Benelli M3 section theres a pic of Demille pointing what is labeled as a Benelli M3. I think the shape of the pump and groove in the yop of the reciever is more indicative of a remington 870. Also the lack of a charging handle for semi-auto action rules out the M3.
