Several [[M1911 pistol series|M1911]] derivatives are seen throughout the movie. Gibbons is usually seen using pistols of this type, and Stone finds some type of high-capacity 1911 (Para Ordnance?) on the floor of the mansion when he is being framed for murder. A compact 1911 is also seen in Gibbons' safe in his house when he is getting stuff out of there. He takes it with him, only to lose it when he is captured.

The 1911 in the pic above is a rearsenaled World War 1 era Colt m1911. Notice the flat mainspring housing, there are no cut outs present behind the trigger, smaller grip safety tang, long 1911 type trigger, ect. It also has a set of World War 2 era Key Fibre grips installed. This was a common practice during WW2 to rearsenal 1911's to be like 1911a1's during the war to provide enough guns for soldiers during the war when supply couldn't meet demand for WW2 era 1911a1's. This particular gun also looks to have a Remington Rand 1911a1 slide fitted on the WW1 frame, another common practice found on Refurbished guns to have mis matched parts as guns were generally taken apart in bulk for repairs and put back together with random parts to build complete guns.
