Resistance members using this weapon sometimes throw away their MP7A1s in favor of a Combine AR2 Pulse Rifle. It even says the caliber "4.6x30mm" on the ammunition boxes.

In a flashback, Derek Vinyard ([[Edward Norton]]) uses a [[Ruger KP89]] to shoot two black robbers who are trying to steal his car. He kills one, and wounds the other, but he kills the other robber by brutally curbstomping him just before the police arrive.

In a couple scenes, Seth ([[Ethan Suplee]]) can be seen with a [[Glock#Glock 17|Glock 17]] on him which he most notably lays down on the bathroom sink in the Vinyard's home. Later on in the movie he uses it to threaten Derek ([[Edward Norton]]) at the party after Derek resigns from the neo nazi gang. However, Derek manages to take the gun from him, and uses it to threaten the gangmembers so he can get away from the party. Later on he unloads the gun, and discards the weapon in a dumpster while throwing the magazine in a trash can.
