The pistol grip on the M16 appears to be lacking the finger notch which is on the A2 but not on the A1. It is difficult to be certain from the picture. This could be an A1 with A2-style handguards. Does anyone know for certain?
I don't remember those P99s being full autos. Excalibur01 04:44, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

In reality, they aren't, but in the opening scene, after Seline tosses her Beretta's for her P99's, she fires a few times, then they cut to a different character, cut back to Selene and she's firing them as if they were fully automatic. == Modified Beretta 92FS ==

Additionally, are the compensators attached to Selene's Beretta 92FS are real world compensator or were the designed specifically for the film? 29 June 2009 (UTC)

dose Selene had two Beretta 92FS, two P99s, and a USP conpact on her at all times?
:I don't think so. It's been awhile since I've seen the movie, but IIRC, she carried the Berettas for the first part of the movie, then switched to the Walthers once they started using the silver nitrate rounds. And she never used the USP in combat, she only used it at the mansion firing range, which being part of the mansion armory, has multiple weapons available. Guessing she just picked it up "in house" for her target shooting, it doesn't appear to be anything she carries with her regularly. DKS01 05:30, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Selene's Berettas do not seem to have real compensators like in Evolution, but more like covers for the extended barrels. There are no ports on top of the "covers" and the still showing Selene firing, only muzzle flash is seen and no flash upwards as with a normal compensator.

Also, she does use the P99s in combat, in the end when the vampires attack the lycan hideout. You can clearly see them when she jumps down the tunnel, and when she does a forward flip while shooting a lycan. --Jan 23:43, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
:I never said she didn't use the P99's in combat. I said she didn't use the USP in combat. The letters "USP" look nothing like "P99" so not sure how you made that mistake. DKS01 06:49, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
Burst 92 conversion?
Would it be possible to convert a Beretta 92FS to fire 3 round burst rather than full auto? I ask as I saw this movie the other today, and it seemed as if Selene was firing consistent 3 round bursts, and she seemed to be repeatedly "clicking" the triggers rather than holding them. Can you "drop in" a component from the 93R to do this, or is it not that simple? --commando552 20:21, 8 August 2011 (CDT)
Gotta love how people saying akimbo guns must be based on Modern Warfare, despite the fact that people wielding guns akimbo has been around in movies and television since the 1930's. Hell, I recently saw a Western themed episode of the THREE STOOGES where their cowboy friend pulls 2 pistols at once. Seriously people, just cause MW has something doesn't mean everything else that has that same thing is based on it, ESPECIALLY when said thing has been around much longer than MW. I'll also note MW wasn't the first game to feature it either, Rise of the Triad had it, Blood had it...and these are games that are too old to even run on my current PC. DKS01 13:10, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
Those other games aren't as mainstream thats why. The newer Goldeneye you could dual wield most guns. Most of these people don't understand that MW2 got dual wielding for somewhere else. :Certainly not as mainstream as Halo 2... (note: that was sarcasm) or its ancestor, Marathon, which along with Rise of the Triad were the first game to feature akimbo guns. (They have the same release date.) Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.² featured the option to wield two non-matching guns at once. Of course, Marathon came out in 1994 - A Better Tomorrow and its iconic portrayal of Chow Yun Fat wielding pistols akimbo in a John Woo movie came out 1986, which would only be around 23 years before Modern Warfare came out. There have been probably hundreds of video games and movies where a character is depicted as using two firearms at once. From my desk, if I look at my video game collection, I can see ten or fifteen from here. Never mind if I turn and look at my movie shelves. But Google "dual wielding in video games" and most of the hits will be about Modern Warfare 2. Why? I think people would mind it less if it was canon, instead of "it's another universe so we can do whatever the hell we want." Degeneration was canon. This is probably the reason that the game fans don't like the movie.--Gunkatas 15:43, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
They might as well be. They wasted over six years' worth of material in ten seconds with RE4 (seriously, what the hell), and ended the entire series' plot arcs in two (with RE5).
I liked Romero's script a hell of a lot better, even if it does go off the rails a little; at least it's still ON them.

The problem I have with the movies (even Degeneration) is that they pull all of these BS "character development"; it's PLOT development. The characters aren't even character in their own right anymore, they're just mouths to say cute little quips and trigger fingers to shoot guns with.

Why? Because if the hype about dual-wielding in MW2 is any indication, video gamers have a memory lasting no more than 3 years. Atypicaloracle 13:22, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
John Triton (John Cena) uses an M16 (SP1) rifle fitted with a Cobray 37mm Launcher to dispatch Al Queda torturing US Marines during the opening scene in the film. The gun is fitted with an A1-stlye birdcage muzzle break, which gives a large and impressive "star pattern" muzzle flash. ==Armbrust ATW==
Morgan (Anthony Ray Parker) uses an "Israeli Shoulder Fired Single Shot Rocket Launcher" (in reality a German Armbrust ATW) to blow up a police cruiser once Rome's (Robert Patrick) Colt Model 733 proves ineffective. The Armbrust is manufactured by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm and licensed to Singapore. It is a lightweight 67mm Single shot rocket system (just like the American LAW M72) except that it is one of the few weapons of that type that is safe to fire from within an enclosed space.
Smith & Wesson Model 14
The two cops at the gas station carry Smith & Wesson Model 14 revolvers, even though the rest of the state police carry Beretta 92FS pistols. After John Triton's (John Cena) wife Kate (Kelly Carlson) is kidnapped by Rome's (Robert Patrick) gang, he takes an officer's Model 14 and a speed loader and begins the chase. Unfortunately the gun is knocked from his hand before he can reload and is thus never used.
Heckler & Koch P7M13
When Morgan (Anthony Ray Parker) is in the chop-shop looking for a good getaway car, a guard doing a pat-down discovers a pistol on him, which appears to be a Heckler & Koch P7M13.
A hick in the woods holds a Remington 870 shotgun with an old style USMC heatshield and bayonet lug adapter and sawed off buttstock, on Triton (John Cena) when he accuses him of being a cop. It resembles the shotgun used by Denzel Washington in Training Day, Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' and a random thug in Desperado.
Browning Hi-Power Mk.3
Vescera (Damon Gibson) uses an Browning Hi-Power Mk.3 to shoot at Triton (John Cena) during the car chase. Morgan (Anthony Ray Parker) is also seen holding this gun while in the chop-shop.
Pistols
Beretta M9
The most common sidearm seen in used by the SG teams (although in real life, the M9 is the military designation for the Beretta, the prop weapons used in the show are most likely the civilian Beretta 92FS).

Smith & Wesson 5906
Seen in the episode "Wormhole Extreme" by alien humans.

COP .357 Derringer
Used by a lowly security guard in the episode "Badguys", season 10. It was never fired in the episode.

Vektor CP1
In the episode "Company of Thieves, one of the Lucian soldiers pointed this gun at Carter a few times. It looks like a Vektor CP1 with a black slide. It was also seen in the hands of Netan and other Lucian Alliance soldiers, especially one that killed Colonel Emerson, the first commander of the Odyessy.

Unknown Revolver
In the episode "Icon", one of the characters on the alien world was seen using this revolver as his side arm. There weren't enough close up shots to see it clearer. It doesn't seem like a single action revolver.

Dressed up Taurus PT99 AKA Timecop gun
Seen in the episode "Icon", used by the main villian at the end. This prop was later seen in Stargate Atlantis as the standard sidearm of the Genii people. This was also used in the movie Timecop

Beretta M93R
Seen in used by US Secret Service agents to attempt to fend off a hologram of Anubis. Als used by the Trust agent Hoskins. It could just be the trick of the eye, but it looked like the scenes where this gun was fire was on full auto, but most likely the actors just pulling the triggers very fast in 3 round bursts, or just the special effects making it look like full auto. It was interesting to see a constant reload when the character Hoskins kept on unloading his gun and then just eject and reloaded, while walking casually away. It actually makes more sense since the guy was just emptying round after round at everything, mostly at doors so he could escape.

:If you look closely, you can see that they have the slide-mounted safety/de-cocker switch, whereas the 93R has it mounted on the frame. That means they're actually Beretta 92Fs dressed up to resemble M93Rs (with fake forward grips and flash hiders) and probably converted to auto with drop-in units; identical guns have also appeared in Harsh Realm and I, Robot (which were both done by the same armorers who worked on this show).

Beretta Cougar
The Beretta Cougar is seen in the hands of Gen. Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson).

SIG-Sauer P228
From a glance this gun seen in Season 8, episode 8 in the hands of the character Alec Colson while he seriously thinks about killing himself before Sam stops him. This is a SIG-Sauer P228.

:The barrel and slide look too long to be a P228. It really looks like a P226 to me. Plus, I know I've seen P226s in at least a couple of episodes of this show, so it would make sense if it was one of those. The easiest way to tell would be if you got a screenshot showing a better view of the trigger guard. If it's pointed, it would be a P226. If it's rounded, it would be a P228.

:Screenshots showing rounded trigger guard posted.

::Correct, sir. Thank you for these. Although weirdly, the first two still seem like a P226 to me for some reason. Possibly a continuity error... -MT2008
Jericho 941
In the episode 200, Mitchell imagined himself fighting zombies. If you forgot about this episode, yes zombies. When he was doing his last stand backing towards the activating gate, he took out a two tone Jericho 941 or the "Baby Eagle as in the DVD commentary, director Martin Wood refers to Mitchell's handgun correctly

Ruger P89
A stainless steel Ruger P89 is used by one of Dr. Tanner's associates in the episode "Point of No Return" in season 4.

SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is used in the episode "Desperate Measures" by Major Carter and Harry Maybourne.

It was again used in the episode "Smoke and Mirrors" by Senator Kinsey's Secret Service Agent.

It appears numerous times later on in the series as the standard-issue sidearm for NID agents later on in the series.

Walther P99
The Walther P99 is used by rogue NID agents in "Touchstone", Colonel Simmons in "Desperate Measures", and by Jack O'Neill in "Sight Unseen".

Taurus PT92
The Taurus PT92 is used in the first 12 episodes of Stargate SG-1's first season as a stand-in for the actual, firing Beretta 92FS/M9, which was apparently unavailable to the production crew until the 13th episode of the first season, "Hathor".

Beretta 92FS Inox
The Beretta 92FS Inox appears in the episode "Absolute Power", carried by Daniel Jackson's bodyguards at his estate.

Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is the primary weapon used by all SG teams for the first few seasons. Then when the main cast and some supporting and extras switched the P90s, the MP5 was only seen a few times. Also seen in use by the Free Jaffa Nation later in the series. MP5 also makes a small comeback when we see them again in the hands of a special assault unit raiding a Trust compound.

(Refering to the pic above) We can assume this was before Michael Shanks (Guy playing Daniel Jackson) learned how to hold a pistol correctly, but it fits his character. Just concerned about McGuyver having a gun accidently pointed at him by a guy with the finger on the trigger. Seemed to be a popular theme if you really pay attention in the series

(Refering to the pic below) MP5s made a short prominent comeback as we see an entire team of young recruits armed with them, though storywise, they were really intars. Kinda showing the audience the posibility of a spin-off with these guys. We only see a couple of them in a few later episodes, older, and the girl in the back later becomes popular in a role in Battlestar Galactica, another great series filmed right next to Stargate.

Aside from a few scenes, the MP5 never becomes noticable for the rest of the series while it gets overshadowed by countless P90 closeups and bigger guns like M4s, G36s, and M60s.
FN P90 Personal Defense Weapon
This became the most common weapon after its introduction in Season 4, Episode 8 ("The First Ones"). In the episode that introduced it, O'neill suggested the weapon because of the ammo was more penetrating than the MP5. We can assume it was just a device in the script just to bring this weapon into the fold, which is rare since there aren't that many series that actually brings up a weapon for the sake of the plot, which the series has for the rest of the show. This is the weapon that is identified when anyone thinks of of the Stargate series. The series probably picked this weapon for its futuristic look, something unique from the other weapons at the time and probably because the budget allowed for the expensive ammunition that comes with a P90, even blanks would cost a lot of money. Dan Shea, series stunt coordinator (1997-2007), has stated one reason the P90 was chosen is that it ejects the empty brass straight down when firing; this allows positioning of actors in a scene without worrying where expended cartridges will be flying. In addition, the weapon is ambidextrous in design, so both right- or left-handed shooters can handle it without problem.

In a few episodes, in the later seasons, Teal'c has been seen dual wielding this SMG, probably because he was not trained in standard practices of Earth military. However, in Stargate Continuum, Colonel Cameron Mitchell was also seen dual wielding P90s. Also seen once in the hands of Bra'tac and the Free Jaffa. Introduced to the Free Jaffa in Season 5 episode "The Warrior". Any subsequent episode with the free Jaffa, we see these in their hands over staff weapons.
H&K MP7
Since then, the MP7 has not been seen in used by the SG teams and only a handful of extras are seen holding them. In the episode "200", Mitchell, in his own imagination, was seeing dual wielding MP7s with the gun's sights folded and with extended magazines fending off Zombies. The episode first showing this was probably the series trying to replace the iconic P90s. However it was well written into the script and they only used this weapon when a low profile was necessary.
Remington Model 700
In Smoke and Mirrors, the gunman uses a Remington model 700 with a customized breakdown and scope to shoot Senator Kinsey.
* Contrary to what Barret claimed, a Remington 700 could be purchased at just about any sporting goods store, and the collapsible stock would not have been difficult to acquire either.

Knight's Armament Revolver Rifle
In Smoke and Mirrors, the gunman looks at a Knight's Armament Silent Revolver Rifle at the arms dealer's warehouse. It is built around a .44 Magnum Super Redhawk revolver.

Unknown hunting rifles
In a couple scenes of one episode, several hunting rifles were shown being shot and held but big game hunters. The hunter nearest to the camera is shooting a Remington Model 7600 pump-action hunting rifle.
Barrett M82
Seen being used by SG3 in the Season 8 episode 04: Zero Hour. What's interesting to note is that while most of the other SG teams use submachine guns, SG3 is armed with an M82, M16, M16 with M203, and an M60. SG3 must be the special assault team for the SGC. (will put up screen shots at a later time)

SG-3 are in the first few series a USMC section tasked with SAR, retrival, Tactical Support ops pretty much they come out to play when they need some extra firepower, someones got themselves into trouble they can't handle or a big bad needs slapping around....just like the real USMC I guess
Daewoo K3 (mocked up as M249)
Contrary to popular belief, there are no real FN Minimi or M249 light machine guns used in Stargate: SG1 or its sister show, Stargate: Atlantis. The light machine guns used by the Atlantis expedition are actually Korean-made Daewoo K3s that have been fitted with M249 Paratrooper-style stocks and shortened barrels. Some of the K3s seen on the show also have RIS rails and vertical grips similar to those seen on the Mk 46 Mod 0.

:I believe LAWs and TOW missiles were mentioned by the "Captain Rogers" in the episode "Rules of Engagement" about the weapons available to the SG-X team, but never seen in the episodes.

FIM-92 Stinger Missile
Seen possibly only once in first season, "Children of the gods" by someone from SG-2 to take out a glider. This is the correct weapon to use for surface to air attack unlike seen using the AT-4
M203 Grenade Launcher Attachment
Seen attached to M4s and M16s. I think it was used only a handful of times. In prop wise, these were all most likely 37mm flare launchers meant to mimic the appearence of an M203, but for the sake of what was presented in story, they are 203s in the SG universe obviously.
:They ARE the Cobray CM203 flare launchers. What tips them off is the absence of a second trigger, the shape of the trigger guard, the lack of a step up in the receiver, and the cocking lever on the SIDE of the receiver. Good call.

Mortar Unknown type
M136 AT-4
Most commonly 'misused' as a surface-to-air missile to shoot down Goa'uld Death Gliders, however, the AT-4 is an 84mm Anti Tank Weapon. It has also been used just as a weapon to make big explosions.

Knives
OKC-3S bayonet
Not a firearm, but an interesting fact that it is seen used by O'Neill on many occasions and it is USMC knife it is also a bayonet which is clierly visibly and while it could maybe be adapted for us on MP5's it also seen when O'Neill switches to the P90 and it certainly cannot fit any bayonet.

Wrong. Jack's knife is a Phrobis M9 bayonet with an OD Handle and sheath with an integrated pistol mag pouch. The OKC-3S didn't exist until 2004, the same year Jack left SG-1. The Wierd It 22:18, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
John Triton (John Cena) uses an M16 (SP1) rifle fitted with a Cobray 37mm Launcher to dispatch Al Queda torturing US Marines during the opening scene in the film. Attached to John Triton's (John Cena) M16 (SP1) rifle is a Cobray CM203 Flare Launcher, standing in for M203 grenade launcher. Unlike a real grenade launcher, it is shown capable of detonation at very close ranges, which is not possible with real grenade rounds do to a safety feature based on how many times the round spins in flight. Also, the explosion of the round is depicted as a huge fireball which engulfs the bad guys, another piece of film fiction.
::How do you know it's a MAK-90? If it doesn't have the thumbhole stock, then a clear shot of the front sight would help. The MAK-90s were forced to grind down the bottoms of the front sight to not allow attachment of the cleaning rod (Don't ask me what the bizarre rationale by ATF was for that piece of regulation). ==Beretta 92FS==
A South Carolina Police officer hunting down Rome (Robert Patrick) and his gang holds his Beretta 92FS on John Triton (John Cena) when he finds him in the woods. After Triton turns his handcuffs on himself with his Marine-style hand-to-hand, he takes the officers Beretta from him, but never uses it.
Colt Model 733
Rome (Robert Patrick) takes a Colt Model 733 carbine from the back of his car during the robbery and uses it to hose down a police car before the car is destroyed by Morgan's (Anthony Ray Parker) rocket launcher. Later, Bennett (Manu Bennett) uses the same gun to shoot at Triton (John Cena) as he pursues them in a police Camaro.

Armbrust ATW
