Nice work so far. I look forward to seeing the page's creators fix the minor page layout errors. i.e. don't put a LINK to the gun page. Write an original paragraph about who uses the gun and how it appears in the game and hyperlink the gun NAME to the gun page. == Luger P08 ==
Picked up from dead Nazi in ice caves. Somehow these Luger work perfectly after 70 years in the snow, even though they were known to be unreliable even when in much nicer conditions. But nobody's complaining, right? It is also seen in Shambala, where Chloe finds one on the body of dead explorers, who apparently have strange choices in weapons. They appear to carry Lugers along with Beretta Inox's and AKs, leaving their nationality and the time period they arrived rather convoluted.

I was thinking the same thing. If there were Beretta Inox's why take the luger at all?

There is always the possibility that the group in Shambala where that Lugar was found, just before the player fights a few of the guardians and a handful of mercenaries on a falling platform where only the three main characters survive. The lugar was likely there before the landing and the other guns came from Lazarovich's men. Still, why would Chloe take the lugar if that was the case?

That's doubtful, seeing as Lazarevic and his men had just arrived and Chloe stated that they were headed in a totally different direction. This would mean that the bodies from the platform were thrown an absurd distance, and doesn't explain the bodies that are decayed or how the Luger got there in the first place.

Maybe some later explorers picked up the Lugers. I mean, what would you do if you were out exploring and came across an old Luger in working conidition? You know, deep down inside, that you'd pick that up and carry it with you as long as you could. Maybe a few of them met their demise after stumbling upon a few choice Lugers.

Maybe there was another expedition from a later date that also met its demise in that room?

== M32 Grenade Launcher ==

Called the "M32 Hammer", commonly used by gas-mask wearing enemies, the grenades leave a plume of smoke behind them when fired. Nate uses this weapon to shoot down a HIND in Nepal. It has an ammunition capacity of 4 instead of 6, likely for balance reasons. The grenades have a timed fuse, but will detonate on impact with an enemy.

Confirmed available in the Ice Cave and Sewage areas and is named as the MP40. However, the MP40s still manage to work after being left in the sewers and submerged in snow for 70 years. But hey, no game's absolutely perfect when it come's to realism.

I would almost want to say that it's not a shotgun, but a double barreled rifle.
I say that due to it's actual barrel size looks like it could fire a .500 nitro round

It has four barrels and hold four rounds, one in each barrel. The barrels are set side-by-side, so it would only appear to be two barrels. The game called it the Wess 44. So from the number alone, it's a .44 caliber revolver. This is used by Victor Sullivan as his primary sidearm. Gabriel Roman uses a snub nosed version which he keeps holstered for most of the game.

I am thinking it may be a Smith and Wesson 686, colt python or something similar with a stub nosed barrel, he probably loaded it with lower velocity .38 ammo. this is why it may have been possible to fail to penatrate the book. Book pages can be pretty hard on bullets. The old .38 loads are very dismal as far as ballistics are concerned. Back in the the day the mod. 10 smith and wesson (.38) was in just about every LEOs holster in the USA. Absolutely lousy penatration and terminal ballistics performance. Virtually no permanent wound channel is created with the old lead slugs. The advent of good +p hollow points have made this round marginally decent. Still though I would not stake life preservation on the performance of this round. I'm fine with the good ol' American .45 ACP.

Hay! This is my page. I have made a few corrections or at least suggestions before like the Darkness page and the talk on Strike Witches. But now you KNOW WHO I AM! What now? Amyways, if your wrong about a firearm, Im gonna tell ya. I have studied them, handled them, and fired them just about my whole life. I have a strong affection for webley revolvers not only for their proven effectiveness, but for the fact that THEY LOOK SO FUCKIN' COOL!! I like 1911s as well (what person who knows ANYTHING about guns does't?), and browning HPs. I dont watch alot of anime other than Cowboy Bebop and Big O. Taxi driver is one of favorite films, as is Leon and Kelly's Heroes. OH and Mad Max 2. As for video games CoD:MW (and MW 2! YEAH BITCH! I OWN IT NOW!) is fun, but COD:WAW on zombie whatever-it-is is teh shit, Fallout 3 whups ass, Dark sector is awesome (WEBLEY!!!), BioShock made jesus shit himself (WEEEEBLEEEEYYY!!!!), Afro Samurai made god love killing, Hitman 2 made Buddha Slaughter mafiosos in italy, and LittleBigPlanet made Allah cool (couldn't think of one for that one). I swear a lot, I'm Pro-gay, and I don't give a fuck whether or not you abort you're baby so please for the love of whatever you do or don't worship don't try to get into that discussion with me. I think he summed up quite nicely how underpowered the .25 is there. Personally I can't stand any "Pocket Pistol" that can't fit more than three fingers on it. They are too damn small! And only built to last about a 1000 rounds.

I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 today, and finally unlocked the Glock 18C. I was very curious to see how many bullets the "extended" magazine would hold, since I was pissed to find it only held 10+1 rounds in the first game and had no extended magazines. I was somewhat miffed to find the extended magazine was a 17-rounder. The actual Glock 18 has a 19-round standard magazine, and a 33-round extended. But, you can't expect much from video games. The weapon depicted in Strike Witches looks like a Japanese Navy Type 99 "machine cannon," which is indeed fed from a drum as depicted and fires a far larger round (note that in the image of the assorted characters, Yoshika Miyafuji and Mio Sakumoto are noted as carrying "13mm Type 99"). However, I think the weapon being used in this anime is a fabrication; my research indicates the Type 99 cannon fired 20mm rounds, not 13mm. A special 10mm "lite" FBI load was developed, as the bureau thought the flash and recoil of the standard 10mm was too severe. For the 10mm, they had Smith and Wesson create a new gun, the 1076. It was a Gen III, was stainless steel, had a a decocking lever, no manual safety and was Double Action only. Capacity was 10 rounds.
Ironically enough, the FBI only retained the 1076s for a short time due to issues with the weight and power of the cartridge. The bureau eventually switched back to the 9mm Sigs (P226 & P228), saying that with good ammo and proper shot placement, the 9mm is an effective cartridge. A while later, the FBI then switched to issuing the Glock 22/23 in .40 S&W to new agents. Ironically, the .40 S&W was essentially a shortened 10mm developed as a result of the the FBI's 10mm "lite" cartridge.

I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 today, and finally unlocked the Glock 18C. I was very curious to see how many bullets the "extended" magazine would hold, since I was pissed to find it only held 10+1 rounds in the first game and had no extended magazines. I was somewhat miffed to find the extended magazine was a 17-rounder. The actual Glock 18 has a 19-round standard magazine, and a 33-round extended. But, you can't expect much from video games. I think he summed up quite nicely how underpowered the .25 is there. Personally I can't stand any "Pocket Pistol" that can't fit more than three fingers on it. They are too damn small! And only built to last about a 1000 rounds.

I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 today, and finally unlocked the Glock 18C. I was very curious to see how many bullets the "extended" magazine would hold, since I was pissed to find it only held 10+1 rounds in the first game and had no extended magazines. I was somewhat miffed to find the extended magazine was a 17-rounder. The actual Glock 18 has a 19-round standard magazine, and a 33-round extended. But, you can't expect much from video games. Hey, I recently watched the series, and noticed some guns not present in this list.

Glock - used by bounty hunters/mercenaries, most clearly seen in the part where the bounty hunters are chasing the counterfeiter and during the ensuing gunfight on the PT boat.

Browning HP type handgun- used by Yakuza, possibly other characters -seen clearly in the last episode where it's the first handgun Kosa's bodyguard hands over to Balalaika's bodyguard. Strangely it changes into a Sig Sauer P226 when he hands it over, though!

Makarov PM - used by Balalaika's bodyguard Boris and several other Hotel Moscow soldiers when they don't have AK's.

Mossberg 590 - used by the first bounty hunter to break into the counterfeiter Jane's hotel room, and a few others. Clearly a Mossberg 590 due to the barrel shroud and tang safety (which oddly looks like a hammer to a Henry lever action rifle or something, rather than the real life safety).

Remington 870 with extended magazine - used by various thugs in the series, in addition to Marine Magnums like the one Dutch uses.

Winchester 1300 Defender/Ithaca 37 with extended magazine (?) - used by Yakuza in the bowling alley.

M249 Para(?) - when Roberta drops her suitcase machine gun, it opens and for a brief second one can see a machine gun of some sort inside. It looks to me like a Minimi/M249 Para.

NSV machine gun - the heavy machine gun used by Hotel Moscow to shoot at Hänsel and Gretel is one of these, I believe.

The main weapon the USPF issues to Snake Plissken ([[Kurt Russell]]) is a [[MAC-10]] fitted with a sound suppressor and a scope mounted on the silencer. After Snake is captured, the Duke of New York ([[Isaac Hayes]]) uses it for the remainder of the film, notably using it to shoot at, but not kill the President in front of his gang. The Duke uses it single shot only and the Suppressor doesn't seem to silence the sound anymore at this point, guess it was supposed to be some futuristic barrel extension as it is larger than average, though its possible the silencer baffles have simply worn out.

I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 today, and finally unlocked the Glock 18C. I was very curious to see how many bullets the "extended" magazine would hold, since I was pissed to find it only held 10+1 rounds in the first game and had no extended magazines. I was somewhat miffed to find the extended magazine was a 17-rounder. The actual Glock 18 has a 19-round standard magazine, and a 33-round extended. But, you can't expect much from video games. I think he summed up quite nicely how underpowered the .25 is there. Personally I can't stand any "Pocket Pistol" that can't fit more than three fingers on it. They are too damn small! And only built to last about a 1000 rounds.

I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 today, and finally unlocked the Glock 18C. I was very curious to see how many bullets the "extended" magazine would hold, since I was pissed to find it only held 10+1 rounds in the first game and had no extended magazines. I was somewhat miffed to find the extended magazine was a 17-rounder. The actual Glock 18 has a 19-round standard magazine, and a 33-round extended. But, you can't expect much from video games. Hay! This is my page. I have made a few corrections or at least suggestions before like the Darkness page and the talk on Strike Witches. But now you KNOW WHO I AM! What now? The brothers seems pretty effective with them. why should they change? Some men can dot an eye with either gun. proficiency can be much more of a decider in combat than stopping power. A professional with a beretta is much more dangerous than an untrained person with a M1911, and vice versa. I have known those that swear by either gun. It just annoys me that it has become a ritual to scorn the 9X19mm round due to it's supposed lack of lethality. And I doubt you have been shot with either round. If you have I apologize. I suggested Webleys because they are very nice looking guns in my opinion. Note how I said LOOKING. Besides they are using desert eagles with compensators so money seems to be no object to them on their quest for justice, besides they could just reload their empties like everyone else with a webley.

:Let me put it this way: I know people who have had to shoot people with 9mm's in self defense. They all told me it took around 3 rounds to make the attacker stop. ::yeah sorry folks. guess i sorta overreacted 'bout that one. I have found in my experience using a Beretta 92G vertec and a caspian arms M1911 that guns in either caliber can be fine guns. I would be fine using either of the guns I just mentioned in a firefight, or both preferebly. I don't mean like john wooing the guns, I mean like having a spare rod. hell, i'd use a browning HP, or a tokarev, or S&W Model 10, or a 1911, or a H&k U.S.P. .45, or even (god forbid) a glock. A gun's a gun and a kill's a kill. whatever you can kill with, use it. Jeff Cooper swore by his 1911s, just as my father swears by his 586. I knew a man who was mocked for carrying a Star model B when was in the armed forces, but easily shot a man dead in self-defense. .45 = stopping power. 9mm =low recoil. just because a man uses a beretta doesnt mean he likes to spray and pray, maybe he just doesn't like to take the chance he'll be out when he doesnt want to be, just like a man who carries an m1911 isnt necesarily a guy who just wants what's biggest, maybe he just knows what it can do. a man likes what he likes. And I like sammiches and berettas. And webleys. besides they could just use webleys modified to take .45 acp that they can download to usable pressures. Yes folks. I just went back to square one there....still. webley = sexy. well...im sure this argument will go on for eternity....soo continue. Amyways, if your wrong about a firearm, Im gonna tell ya. I have studied them, handled them, and fired them just about my whole life. I have a strong affection for webley revolvers not only for their proven effectiveness, but for the fact that THEY LOOK SO FUCKIN' COOL!! I like 1911s as well (what person who knows ANYTHING about guns does't?), and browning HPs. I dont watch alot of anime other than Cowboy Bebop and Big O. Taxi driver is one of favorite films, as is Leon and Kelly's Heroes. OH and Mad Max 2. As for video games CoD:MW is fun, but COD:WAW on zombie whatever-it-is is teh shit, Fallout 3 whups ass, Dark sector is awesome (WEBLEY!!!), BioShock made jesus shit himself (WEEEEBLEEEEYYY!!!!), Afro Samurai made god love killing, Hitman 2 made Buddha Slaughter mafiosos in italy, and LittleBigPlanet made Allah cool (couldn't think of one for that one). I recently acquired a Kimber Custom CDP II M1911. It is an awesome gun and I can't wait to put some rounds through it.
