==S&W 1911==
In season 4 episode 9 Brennan takes a [[1911#Smith_.26_Wesson_SW1911|Smith & Wesson SW1911PD Tactical Rail Series]] out of Booth's holster. It has a tactical rail on the frame nose. It is never fired.

Wrong. Booth carries a Sig 1911. His does not have the serrations on the front of the slide. Plus, the shape of the slide is too squared to be a S&W. However, it does seem quite a bit like Sig's 1911 design.

In Season 2 Episode 12, ''The Man in the Cell'', Brennan begins carrying a 4" [[Smith & Wesson Model 500]] that she claims to have bought at the mall. She and Booth both use the weapon in the final showdown with a murderer in Season 3 Episode 5, ''Mummy in the Maze''.

Sheriff Leonard Wilkinson ([[Brian Howe]]) uses this revolver to hold a woman hostage, and shoot Bones in the arm.

In the pilot episode, Bones can be seen using a stainless, snubnosed revolver (possibly a Smith & Wesson Model 60) at an indoor shooting range and later to wound a suspect in the leg.
